November 1 Food Collection 
Food collection will be at Solar Roast from 9 am to 3 pm; this food drop off is to help the Ecumenical Church Food Pantry.  Items needed are boxed stuffing, dry turkey gravy mix, and corn bread /muffin mix for Thanksgiving. Other items that the church is running low on are soup, pasta. canned beans, dry beans, peanut butter and canned meals such as chili, ravioli, stew, etc


November 13 Paint and Pour 
Our Paint & Pour event will be at 1:00 on November 13 at Cat's Pourhouse. This is a super fun social event - no work involved! The cost is $30, which covers all materials for your painting plus one beverage of your choice. Artistic talent is NOT required or needed. Our leader, Randy, will guide us through the project step by step. This time we'll be painting a holiday/winter scene.  Please contact Patty O'Connor to RSVP (her information is in the latest roster).

November 15 Tim's Recovery Fundraiser
Tim, the owner of Cat's Pourhouse, recently had surgery that did not go as well as expected. Therefore, Cat's Pourhouse is having a "Tim's Recovery Fundraiser". The lunch tickets are $30 per ticket. It includes Pulled Pork or Pulled Chicken, Potato Salad, Coleslaw, Chips, and a Drink Token. Tickets may be purchased at the restaurant before the event, and they will provide you with guaranteed seating between 11am and
12 pm. Tickets may also be purchased at the door on the day of the event. 
There will also be a Silent Auction from 11 am- 2:30 pm.

November 18 Membership Meeting
Our meeting date has changed this month ONLY because the library is closed on Veteran's Day.  Meet and greet starts at 10 am; membership meeting starts at 10:30 am.
Carol Cosby at Parks and Recreation, has agreed for us to deliver the collected food items to her on November 18th. Brenda will deliver the food to Carol. The baskets will be distributed to families in need on November 24th; items needed are corn, beans, stuffing mix and mac and cheese.

December 9 Membership Meeting Potluck and Choir Performance
We will be hosting our very own potluck at the December meeting; chit chat time starts at 10:00, meeting at 10:30. We’re also excited to welcome the school choir, directed by Julie, who will be performing for us. It’s always a joy to listen to the children sing and share their holiday spirit with us.  We will also be collecting food to fill Christmas baskets for Parks and Rec.  Food items needed are mac and cheese, mash potatoes, yams, beans, Dinty Moore stew, chili and all Chef Boyardee products.  Winter hats, mittens, gloves and scarves will also be collected. Thank you for your giving spirit.  

December 13 Christmas Gift Wrapping with Parks and Rec
Saturday, 8 am at the Rec Center 230 E. George Drive.  Please bring your own scissors.
