Pueblo West Women Who Care
Who We Are
Pueblo West Women Who Care is a Giving Circle that empowers the women of Pueblo West to join together in support of non-profits serving our community. Membership is open to all women in Pueblo West who wish to support our mission. This group is perfect for women who want to contribute to the community but have limited time - we meet just four times a year for about an hour each meeting.
How it Works
Attend quarterly, 1-hour meetings. We meet the second Wednesday in the months of February, May, August, and November.
Commit to donating $100 per quarter to the non-profit selected at each meeting. If you wish, you can create a team of up to 4 women and split the donation.
Nominate a qualifying non-profit that serves the Pueblo West community. Be prepared to talk about your chosen non-profit, explaining why they are deserving of the collected funds. All members are encouraged to make nominations. If there are more than 3 non-profits nominated, 3 will be selected to have presentations made about them.
Vote for your favorite non-profit of those nominated at the meeting.
The non-profit with the most votes receives all the money collected that meeting.
Current Donations
May 2024 - $900 to Gear-Up
February 2024 - $850 to Ecumenical Church of Pueblo West Food Pantry
November 2023 - $700 to Pueblo Child Advocacy Center
August 2023 - $500 to Pueblo West Community Xeriscape Gardeners
June 2023 - $540 to Pueblo Blessing Boxes
How To Join Us
Visit the following link and search for Pueblo West Women Who Care - grapevine.org. You can join and set up credit card payments there. If you wish your donations to be made automatically each quarter, choose “Quarterly” for the frequency - your automatic payment will be made on the 1st of the month in which we meet. If you prefer to have more control over when your payment is made each quarter, choose “One Time” for the frequency. Be aware that Grapevine defaults to add an additional 15% donation to their Community Support. You can change this to a different amount or choose “not at this time.”
